It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Patrick Michael Muise announce his passing on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his common-law wife Brenda Young; stepchildren: Carl Young, Melissa Young (Troy), Jamie Young (Crystal), Roxanne Young (Toby) and Elisha Muise (Patrick White) from a previous marriage; step-grandchildren: Kody, Daniel, Dawson, Brody, Denver, Addison, Deacon; Extended grandchildren: Tegan, Carter, Paige, Shyanne, Rylan and Zachery. He also leaves to mourn his sisters: Doreen Swyers, Odelle Pike (George), Cecilia Butt (Roger), Kathleen Muise, Eileen Lucas, Sharon Muise, Shirley Muise, Marjorie Muise (Darren), Angela Muise, Audrey Lucas, Gertie Mai Muise (James), adopted sister Ann Hart (Ernie); brothers: Leonard (Beth), Victor James, Terrance, Ronald (Wanda); brother-in-law Michael Kendell; aunts: Sarah Muise, Mary Muise as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Victor and Gertrude Muise; brothers: Walter, Bernard, Raymond Perrier and sister Gladys Kendell. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
Visitation will take place on Monday, September 21, 2020 between the hours of 12 noon – 8 p.m. from the People of the Dawn Indigenous Friendship Center at 329 Main St., St. George’s, NL. The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s, NL with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Courthouse Rd., St. George’s, NL following the service.
