Patrick McLennon
1938-2020
It is with
saddened hearts that the family of Patrick McLennon, Southeast,
Placentia, announce his passing on November 26, 2020 at the age of
82.
Pat was a kind, loyal and caring man, a
carpenter, entrepreneur, butcher, woodcutter, who had a unique love of
the woods. Also known for his trademark moose soup, his
bright blue eyes, his gardens, for giving the best hugs, and even for
being a little bit of a
prankster.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Bride
(Ennis), brother Vincent, daughters Janice (Dion Fifield), and
Darlene. Brothers and sisters-in-law Andy (Ev), Phil (Claire), Neet
(Jerome), Bet (Willie), Luci (Rod), Sheila, Flo, Annie, Loretta, Ange
and his many relatives, family and
friends.
Deceased by his parents, Vincent, and Teresa
(Power, Branch) McLennon; sisters
Mercedes (Aloysius), Joan (Harold), Mary Ellen (Jack), Irene (Dom),
Gertie (Bill). Brothers-in-law, Jim, Dick, Bill (Helen),
Jerome, Adrian, and George.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses
and staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their wonderful care, and
we appreciate all the support and love from family, friends and
community over the last couple of weeks of Pat’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The
Alzheimer’s Society or the Rovers Search and
Rescue.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public
Health Emergency, visitation is permitted with
restrictions. The maximum number of
people permitted in the visitation room at one time is 20
people. All visitors must sign in and
sign out for contact tracing purposes, and masks must be worn at all
times. Hand sanitizer will be provided and is to be used

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher’s Funeral
Home, Placentia. Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 13,
2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm
at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Church,
Placentia, Monday, December 14, at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at
Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast,
Placentia.
