Obituary
Patricia Rose (Pylypow) Stuart was born on February 2, 1950. She was raised, the youngest of eleven children, on the family farm south west of Glaslyn. Pat married the love of her life, Bob, on July 2, 1966. After their marriage, Pat and Bob lived in North Battleford, where Pat worked as a homemaker, seamstress and then at the Bank of Montreal. She was active at Third Avenue United Church, as a choir member and CGIT leader. Children, Leigh and April were born during their time in North Battleford. In 1978, Pat and Bob realized their lifelong dream of owning their own farm. The farm, north of Glaslyn, became their full time home in 1979. Pat worked at the Glaslyn Credit Union for a short time, before beginning her 25 year career at Scotiabank in 1981. Pat and Bob enjoyed her retirement from the bank by traveling internationally, and spending time at their home in Yuma, until 3 weeks before her passing. Many special friendships were made along the way. Pat had two loves in her life – her family and farming and she gave her all to both. Pat lived with cancer for almost 4 years before succumbing on March 17, 2020.
She will be missed.
