Patricia’s Obituary
Patricia was born September 3, 1949 to Joseph & Frances Bodo. Patricia started her schooling at Brushwood School west of St. Brieux and finished her schooling in St. Brieux.
On September 7, 1968 she married the love of her life, Joseph Leray. Over the years Mom had numerous jobs, the one she loved most of all was baking. Mom could whip up a meal in no time flat and it was always amazing. She was always taking someone food in time of need. She loved spending time with the little people in her life. Mom shared Dad’s love for farming and together they made that dream come true. She spent hours gardening even though she said she hated gardening. She always had a basement full of canning.
Mom had a strong faith and a very firm belief in St. Thérèse who helped Mom through many dark times.
Patricia passed away April 18, 2020. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and fought hard for 5 years.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of fifty years (Joseph Leray) and father Joseph Bodo.
Patricia is survived by her three children: Darcy (Colin) of Melfort, Blaine of St. Brieux, Ashley (Stephanie) of Estevan. Grandchildren: Kayla (Jeremy), Riley and Curtis. Great Grandchildren: Hunter Damon, Killian. Her mother Frances Coquet, sister Josie Gallays, Brother Edward Bodo as well as numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
