Osborne’s Obituary
PERRY, Osborne Baker – 97, passed away in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital on September 16, 2020. Born at North East Harbour, Shelburne County, on December 4, 1922, he was a son of the late Enos Elliott and Juema “Jean” Medeline (Greenwood) Perry. Osborne was a WWII Veteran having served with Queens Own Cameron Highlanders 2nd Division as a dispatch. After returning home he was a fisherman most of his working life. He is survived by sisters-in-laws, Marie, Edith; many nieces and nephews, including two caregivers, Rose Atwood and Richard Fitzgerald. Besides his parents he was predeceased by wife, Genesta; brothers, Elliott, Ralph, Harold, Eugene, Norman; sisters, Mildred Fralick and Laura Ellen in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. There will be a graveside service held at a later date at Pleasant Plain Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Plain Cemetery or Harbour Fire Department.
