Oluf Marinius Nelson was born on August 10, 1918 on the homestead in the Viking District. He passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 102 years on August 13, 2020.
Oluf enjoyed family and friend visits and functions. Many trips were taken out to British Columbia for vacations and employment. He took great pride in his work ethics and raising his family. Family meant everything.
Oluf is survived by his children: Loretta Tolofson, Barrett (Susan) Nelson; Janet (Richard) Jackson and Geordie (Tara) Nelson; sons-in-law: Lloyd Spencer and George Marchand; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by: his parents Carl and Josephine Nelson; wife Violet and wife Marjorie; children: Jacki, Jacqueline and Joyce and great granddaughter Mackenzie Nelson.
