Obituary of Oliver Kent
Oliver James Gibson John Kent
September 17, 2020 to October 25, 2020
Oliver suddenly passed away on October 25, 2020 leaving behind his loving mother Elizabeth Kent, grandmother Barbara Kent, aunt Judy Curry (Tim), uncles Gib (Pam), Jim and John (Veronica), great aunt Susan (Darrell) and cousins Shawn, Sarah, Bryce, Kyle, Ashley, Lilly, Liam, Remy and Benjamin.
Oliver fought hard in his short life and left behind a legacy of love, strength and perseverance. After a long stay in CHEO he returned home for a few days spending time with family and friends spreading love and cuddles. A life in many ways too short but filled with grace, love and a fighting spirit that will live on in the lives of the many people he touched. A special thanks to the many medical professionals who supported Oliver, specifically Tammy LeRiche, Brianna Empringham, Josee Nolet, Heather Mason, the BGH Emergency Department and CHEO Care Teams.
A Celebration of Oliver’s Life will be held at Wall Street United Church on Friday October 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St., E., Brockville. In lieu of flowers, donations to CHEO, Brockville & District Hospital Foundation or Wall Street United Church would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be made online at www.barclayfuneralhome.com.
