Murray Albert Swan
1948-2020
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of
Murray Albert Swan on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Waulklehegan
Manor, McAdam NB. Born on March 7, 1948, he was the only son of the
late John ”Jack” Swan and Cora “Phyllis”
Swan.
Murray will be sadly missed by his devoted big-sister Brenda
McCullough (Blair) as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition
to his parents, Murray was predeceased by his sister Marlene Dunphy
(Late Donnie).
Born in Harvey, he remained in the community his entire life living on
the family farm until moving to the manor. He was a kind, decent
hardworking honest man. He loved farming but was also known for his
love of wrestling and horror movies.
Although Murray never had children of his own he holds a special place
in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, great-nieces/nephews and
great-great nieces/nephews.
Murray’s family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all
staff of the Wauklehegan Manor for their kind, compassionate care
shown to Murray during his residency. Your attentiveness to his needs
gave us confidence he was receiving excellent care.
There will be no visitation; a private graveside service will be held
for family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wauklehegan Manor, or a charity
of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
