DOLSON, Monica Melvina – Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, November 22nd, 2020. Monica Melvina Dolson (nee McFarland) of Woodstock, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Mathew Dolson (Oct. 2020). Loved mother of Mary (John) McBain, Darlene (Geof) Elliott, Dennis (Lise) Dolson and Floyd Dolson. Cherished grandmother of Adam (Janina), Erin (Jamie), Samantha (Ron), Sara (Rory), Sabrina (Gustavo), Ashley, Liberty and great grandmother of ten. Dear sister of Evelyn Vivier and Genevieve Veenboer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by siblings Lawrence, James, Theresa, Shirley and Rita. Monica was a devoted mother who loved to spend her free time sewing and quilting. Friends may visit with family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday November 26th, 2020 from 6-8 pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it is mandatory to RSVP through the funeral home website. A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Alzheimer Society, Woodstock Hospital- Palliative Care Unit or VON- Oxford would be appreciated.
