Mildred Esther Jonah
Mildred E. Jonah, 94, of Lakeview Manor, passed away
peacefully at her residence on Friday, January 3, 2020.
Born in Yarmouth NS, she was the daughter of the late William
and Beatrice (White) Gould.
Mildred was a member of the former Upper Coverdale Coverdale
United Church and the Pythian Sisters Saxby Temple # 35, Riverview.
She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, bowling and
travelling.
She will be sadly missed by her children Lynda Sprague and
Thomas (Heather); 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren;
brothers Maynard « Bill » Atkinson and Leroy Atkinson as well
as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husbands Richard « Dick » Jonah and Clifford Tinkham and a
brother Victor Gould.
A Service to celebrate and honour Mildred’s life
will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January
9, 2020 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery, Dawson
Settlement.
In memory of Mildred, donations to Lakeview Manor or a
memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online
