Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 86 years of age. Predeceased by his wife Olga, his mother Elizabeth, his father Peter and children Barbara, Michael, Debbie and sister Anna. Much loved father of daughters Helen (Bob), Susan (Sherree, stepson Jeffrey) and grandchildren David (Grace), Michael (Amy), Lisa, Ashley (Brian) and Jarod. Dear great grandfather of Mckenzie, Cyrus, Peyton, Jaxon, David, Sophia and Dominic. Michael was a man of simple pleasures. He delighted in the time spent with his family and extended family, and spoke often of his early morning coffee outings with his buddies. Michael will be very much missed by all those who knew and loved him. We will always remember his engaging smile and big moustache. Special thanks to Erie Shores Health Care staff for their care, compassion and kindness. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 14 Russell St., Leamington (519-326-2631) Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. Fr. Steve Marsh officiating. Interment at Erie Memorial Gardens to follow. If you so desire, donations to Erie Shores Health Foundation would be appreciated.
