Michael ( Mike) 1957 – 2020
Our beloved lost his strong determination to rid himself of Cancer on Sunday July 5, 2020.
Mike leaves behind his wife of over 30 years, Suzanne, his Dad, Paul, brothers James, William (Monica), Christian (Karen), sister Julianne (Gabe),, his nephew Axel and his nieces Jessica,Erica,Natahsa,Kimberly and Hanna. Predeceased by his mother Pat.
Mike was a long time journeyman (Capman) steelfabricator for BC Rail and later CN Rail in Mackenzie,Prince George and Squamish. he later learnt new trades in the Pumis Mining and his last and final career was in Marine Vessel repairs and new vessel fabricating on the Fraser River in Delta and the North Vancouver Shipyards of Seaspan.Mike again thrived in this large unionwork enviroment.
We will all miss Mike’s true love of dirt bikes, either riding or watching races at tracks of flagging races or simply his long conversations about riders and his motorcycles.
A big hug and thank you to the Coast Health team of support & nurses and medical professionals,( there are too many to name) for all their care and devotion to Mike over these past seven months as well as their tremendous patience and time for supporting Mike in his final journey in Life.
