At the Souris Hospital on Monday, September 28, 2020, Mary Vernita Mullally (nee Murphy) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was aged 82 years and formerly of Morell, PE. She was a faithful and loving wife of 56 years to her husband Sinnott Mullally and dear mother to Karen, Louise Doiron (Alvin), Beckie, Chris (Amy) and Brian (Jen). Special grandmother to Timothy, Kate, Hudson and Kenzie. Also, lovingly remembered by her brother Emmett Murphy (Sheila) and brothers-in-law John (Claire), Joseph (Pat) and George Mullally.
Predeceased by her parents Felbert and Nora Murphy, son Joseph Mullally and siblings Carl, Ernest (Evelyn), Maurice (Bernadette), Aloysius (Jodie), and Gertrude Murphy and special nephew David Murphy.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where private visiting hours will take place for family only. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Souris with interment to follow in the St. Alexis Church Cemetery, Rollo Bay. Due to public health restrictions, the gathering will be limited to invited guests only. If so desired, donations in memory of Vernita can be made to the St. Alexis Cemetery Fund.
