Memorial Donation
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Mary Russell (nee Harvey) aged 63 announces her passing on Saturday February 1, 2020 at the Health Sciences Center in St. John’s, NL with her family by her side. Born in Isle aux Morts, Mary was the daughter of the late Leander Harvey Sr, and Elizabeth Harvey (nee Caines). She was also predeceased by her siblings; Wayne, Rose and Ann.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her mom Elizabeth, children; Michael Vardy (Tabatha), Michelle Hunt (Ryan), her brothers and sisters; Tommy Harvey (Marilyn), Leander Harvey Jr (Debbie), Eileen King (Dana), Susie Hatcher (Allen), Vince Harvey (Tina), Norma Lawrence (Dean), Doreen Harvey (Dion), Marilyn Crowell, Joy Kane (Jason) granddaughters; Taylor, Karissa, great grandchildren; Lexi, Luka, Loni and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, in Isle aux Morts from where the funeral will take place on Friday February 7, 10 am officiated by Rev. Nathan Cutler. Interment will follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the family.
