It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma, Mary Hanasyk on December 28, 2019. She was 91 years old.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, David (Loree), Brian (Gale) and Lori (John); grandchildren Sarah (Aaron), Matthew (Nina), Michael, Brad, Jeff and Kelly; and great grandchildren Charlie, Henry, Soren and Naomi.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Ed; her parents, John and Mary Blaser; and brothers George, John, Paul and Matt.
A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Hope Lutheran Church at 5104 – 106 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital and Our Parent’s Home for the kind and compassionate care given to Mary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Heart & Stroke Fund, Edmonton Humane Society or the charity of one’s choice.
