Marilyn Jean Elizabeth Drewett
1944-2020
Marilyn Jean Elizabeth Drewett, 76, of Cape Station
passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2020 at her home
with her family by her side.
She was born in Ayr, Ontario on June 28th, 1944 the
daughter of the late John and Nettie Deeton.
Marilyn was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family,
being a wife and mother was her life’s purpose. She enjoyed
knitting and crocheting. She had a very quick wit
and you never knew what she was going to say. She let her
opinions known but had a smirk or smile for anyone who she got a
reaction out of. She loved her home in the
country. She had a special place in her heart for
animals, especially her cats as they were like family to
her. She enjoyed watching the birds and
squirrels and all the wildlife that came around her little
paradise she called home. She has now ended her
journey here in this world but has left her mark and she will never be
forgotten. » Now at peace with God and

She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Julie Armstrong
(Jim) and Nadine Weeks (Richard) both of BC; her sons, Jason Drewett
of BC and Gregory Drewett of Cape Station; her precious
grandchildren, Ryan and Brady. She will also be missed by
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her
husband, David Drewett (2007); brother Cameron « Turk » Deeton
(2018).
Honouring Marilyn’s own wishes there will be no
visitation or funeral service.
Marilyn would want those who wish to make a donation in her
memory to donate to a Living Memorial for her son Greg, who took such
good care of her, as he struggles with his own health
issues. This can be done through the Albert County Funeral
Home.
