Obituary of Margaret Sylvia Burnfield
Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Village of Taunton Mills in Whitby, at age 88. Margaret (nee Hooper), loving mother of Janice (deceased) and her husband Mark Lovering of Port Perry, Heather and her husband Doug Davis of Greenbank, Philip Burnfield and his wife Trena (deceased) of Oshawa, and Arlene and her husband Wally Baker of British Columbia. Loved grandmother of Noel Lovering (Christy), Denna (Rich Brough), Leon Morrow (Kim), Alaina (Sean Weeks), Brandon Davis (Alissa), Colin Morrow, and Jacob. Great grandmother of Hunter, Christian, Calista, Logan, Wyatt, Brianna, and Cassidy. Dear sister of Diane, Gayle, Larry, Tom, Shirley, and Lillian. Pre deceased by sisters Barbara, and Ruth, and brothers Douglas, John, Cater, and Robert.
The family of Margaret Burnfield will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 7 – 9 p.m. In accordance with the directives provided by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario please contact the funeral home to schedule your visitation appointment. Wearing of masks or face coverings, by everyone is mandatory. A private family service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Interment Bethel Cemetery, Greenbank.
