SEGALL, Manfred – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Manfred Segall in his 88th year due to COVID-19. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Raphael), loved father and father-in-law of Ellen Segall Hayden, Rhoda and Howard Kruger, Sharon and Steve Cohen. Brother and brother-in-law of Goldie and Jacques Abecassis. Grandfather to Adrienne Frank and Josh Kruger, Sheri Kruger Satov and Avi Satov, Sarah and David Kruger, Rachel Cohen and David Barth, Jordan Cohen, Jeremy Hayden and Holly Pearson. Great grandfather of 10.
Manfred was a gentle soul with a good heart. He was always involved with his synagogue and volunteered his time whenever he could. He was an avid baseball fan who followed the Montreal Expos and then the Toronto Blue Jays. He loved listening to classical & Jazz music, reading and then listening to audio books. He came to Canada as a young child and made a life for himself first in Montreal and then Toronto. He was a keen businessman, who built up several businesses over the years.
Manfred will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
