Peacefully at the Heartwood LTC on Monday August 3, 2020. Malissa “Betty” Bilmer (nee Breyer) of Monkland; age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold Bilmer. Loving mother of Barry, Brian (Terry), Cathy King (late Marcel), Carol Ann Fraser (Glen) and late William ‘Bill’ (Linda). She was proud of her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents John Breyer and Mary Ella Stephenson and foster mother Sarah Ann Harris (nee Stephenson); also by her brothers Hector (late Ida), Ralph (late Lillian) and John D. (Ruby) and foster brother Robert Harris. Betty is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). A private Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home. A Public Interment will take place in the North Branch Cemetery, Martintown on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at 12 pm. Social distancing is required at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Betty a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
