Mrs. Madeline Loncke formerly of Delhi and La Salette, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on Saturday, August 15, 2020 in her 93rd year. Madeline was a proud Member of the La Salette Catholic Women’s League and the PTA for St. Mary’s School in La Salette during her daughters’ time there. Former Madeline Margaret VanWynsberghe, daughter of Remi Van Wynsberghe (1976) and Zoe Crombez (1969). Beloved wife of the Late Andrew Loncke (2001). Loving mother of Linda Laing (Clarke), Anne Wittet (George) and Sharon Loncke (Dave). Cherished grandmother of Shawn (Wendy), Heather ( Bryan ), Katie, Jeremy (Ali) and Emily (Tarisa) and great grandmother of Jaimee and Eryn. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, in laws and family in Belgium . Predeceased by her brother, Mitch VanWynsberghe (1969), by her sister, Mary Anne Chernak (2016), and by her nephew, Bob VanWynsberghe (2007). In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Memorial Service will take place with inurnment in Our Lady of La Salette R.C. cemetery.
