Watson, Macgregor “Mac”
It is with great sadness the family of MacGregor Watson announces his passing at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Marlene Watson of 65 special years. Loving father of Mac (Debbie) Watson, late John Watson (2005) and Mary Ann Watson. Proud Grandpa and Poppy of Chris (Erin) Watson, Lee Watson (Erin MacDonald), late Amanda Vlasman (Dean), Stephanie Watson (Chris Knight), Lauren Down, and great-grandpa of 10 special great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings Don (Beryl), Mary (Blake) and Jim (Lois). Mac will be sadly missed by his canine companion Goldie. Mac will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends and neighbours.
Mac farmed in the Springbank community for his lifetime and had a passion for horseracing.
A private family service will take place at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG. Interment to follow at Nairn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice. Online condolences and donations may be at www.ailsacraigfuneralhome.com.
