Mrs. Lucienne (L’Huillier) McLaughlin, wife of Jean-Paul McLaughlin of Bellefond Road NB, passed away Tuesday January 21, 2020 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 84.
Born in St. Arthur, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Susan (Arseneau) L’Huillier. She was a homemaker and a member of L’Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook.
Besides her husband Jean-Paul, she is survived by her daughter Linda Gallant (Claude) of Miramichi; her four sons; Jean-Claude McLaughlin (Linda) of Saint John, Rheal McLaughlin (Jo-Anne) of Beaverbrook, Leon McLaughlin of Saint John and Albert McLaughlin (Lori Lee) of Tracadie, one brother Eulien McLaughlin (Annette) of Chaplin Island Road, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Alice Levesque and Elsie LeBreton, three brothers, Uriel, Ulysse and Eustache L’Huillier.
Mrs. Lucienne (L’Huillier) McLaughlin is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday January 24, at 11 a.m. at L’Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook, with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in the family plot of the church cemetery in the spring.
