Lucia Abrams
(née Avram)
It is with great sadness that the family of Lucia, known to all as Lily, announces her passing on Monday, December 21, 2020, in her one-hundred-and-third year. Lily can now rest peacefully with her loving husband Arnold. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Steve and Ady. Adoring grandmother of Natalie Avram and Jared Klaiman, and Sophie Avram and Aviad Grunbaum. Proud great-grandmother of Arielle, Raphaelle and Leo; Max and Bobby, all of whom she adored. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Sofi and the late Edu, the late Buru and the late Clara. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews from the USA and Israel. She was born in 1918 during the Spanish Flu epidemic and died in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. In between, during her almost 103 years, she lost her mother at the age of three, went through WWII, married and raised a family and emigrated first to Israel and then to Canada. She devoted her life to her husband and son and was loved by her family and many friends who admired her loyalty and determination. She was kind and giving and known as Granma Lily by all her granddaughters’ friends. Private graveside service to take place. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
2020
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Lucia Abrams 2020..
