Obituary of Loretta Elizabeth Elixe Weidhaas
Weidhaas, Loretta E. – 96, of Round Hill, Annapolis County, passed away peacefully at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home on Monday December 28, 2020. Born in Easthampton, Mass., U.S.A, the daughter of William and Antonia Ethier. She was the oldest and last surviving sibling. Loretta moved to Canada in 1960 with her husband Fred and her children. She was an active member of the Anglican Church serving on the Alter Guild and ACW for many years. Loretta is survived by her children, Nancy (Aubrey) Price, Judy (Art) Marshall, Fred (Susan Hall) Weidhaas, Jim (Carol) Weidhaas, Mary Lou (Dave) Chaulk, and Gary (Jennifer) Weidhaas, 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Fred. Loretta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful cook, homemaker and loved to knit for her family. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. A celebration of the life will be held at a later date.
