Passed away peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Thursday, July 2, 2020 with her girls by her side. Linda Sadie Fowler (Willey) at the age of 69 years. Linda was a long time member and volunteer of the Spencerville Legion No. 604 as well as the Spencerville United Church. Dear mother of Tanya Murrell (Leo) and Sarah (Mark) Blue and sister of Lorna, Barbara and Jane Willey and Julie Fowler. Dear grandmother of Kiara and Viktor Blue. Linda was predeceased by her parents Lillian and Willis Willey and by her sister Betty Willey.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Sunday, July 5th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Please note that proper social distancing guidelines will be in effect including the wearing of masks, as outlined by the provincial government regulations.
A private ceremony celebrating Linda’s life will be held at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, Maitland, Ontario with interment following.
The Spencerville Legion will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Spencerville Legion Branch No. 604 will be gratefully acknowledged.
