Obituary
Leslie John Tamtom, beloved husband of Debra of Raymond, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the age of 60 years young.
Les is the loving father of Chuck (Wanda) Olson of Red Deer, Cassandra Tamtom (Dylan Strank) of Lethbridge and Jonathan Tamtom (Carling Jones) of Kelowna, BC; and grandfather to Logan and Alex Olson.
Les is also survived by his father, Michael (Yvonne) Tamtom; his siblings Michele Tamtom (Allan Smith), Linda (Grant) Wilmot, Michael S. (Shelley) Tamtom; mother-in-law, Sandra Lussier, brothers and sisters-in law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Deanna; and his father-in-law, Dollard Lussier.
Les was born on December 13, 1959 in Taber, Alberta to Deanna and Mike Tamtom. He made his impact in many places growing up. He was educated in Grande Prairie, Edmonton and eventually graduating in Calgary. He grew up playing sports and loved to be active in all forms of life but once he got his driver’s license you could not get the wheel out of his hands. He went through a lot of tires racing cars until he got his trucker’s license. He loved his motorcycle too. People knew him for his work. His work was his life. He met and married Debra in 1992 and the rest is history. His favorite saying was “Les is more.”
