In loving memory of Leona Ida Marie Starratt who passed away peacefully at the age of 74 years on Friday, June 5th, 2020 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. She was born on September 7th, 1945 in Naughton, Ontario.
Daughter of Louis and Delia St. Jean (nee Hamilton) both predeceased. Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Albert Starratt. Loving mother of Kevin (Sharon) of Nakusp, B.C., Keith of Sudbury, and Connie (Andrew Pinckston) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandmother of Amelia, Silas, James, Henry and Katherine. Dear sister of Teresa Conners, Merilda (Doug Breathat), Ernest, Raymond (Jeanette), Dianne Prentice, and Irene Dube. Dear sister-in-law to Ada (Harold Parker), Ernest (Arlene), Alice (Derek Byran), George (Carol), Randy (Pam), Elizabeth Smith, Janet (Joe Cox), Rachel (Stan Weatherbee) and Richard (Karen). She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends including Lorraine Roy, Isabel England and Pearl Constanineau.
Lee enjoyed her sewing group, making quilts for those in need and sharing her time as president of the Markstay Golden Age Club. She loved spending time with her family and friends and also enjoyed a good poker game. Throughout her life, she embodied the spirit of love. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
