Obituary of Laurie Jean Palmer
It is with heartfelt sorrow the family of Laurie Jean Palmer, of Quispamsis, wife of Jan Palmer, announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
Born in St. Stephen, NB on May 24, 1961, she was a daughter of Lois (McAllister) and late William Anning. She was employed by Arrow Fuels in Quispamsis, as an accountant for several years. Laurie and Jan enjoyed camping and loved to travel, which took them to Europe, driving across Canada and to Boston, as much as possible to catch a Boston Bruins game. She loved music, attending many concerts with her family. Laurie was an avid crafter, recently working on scrap booking. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Besides her loving husband, Laurie is survived by her children; Adam (Natasha) of Kingston, NB, and Tracy (Brian Bordage) of Rothesay, NB, sisters; Nancy Hannan (Len) of Saint Andrew’s, NB, Dorothy Corning (Ron) of Fredericton, NB, and Patty Reynolds of St. Stephen, NB, beloved grandchildren; Neil Bordage and Emmett Palmer, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Laurie was predeceased by her father and brother in law Doug Reynolds.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). A celebration of Laurie’s life will be held at a later date, when family and friends can gather. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the IWK Foundation.
