Lambertus “Bert” Steenhuis, age 94, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Rotary hospice Stratford Perth. Bert is survived by his loving wife Alida (Jonker) Steenhuis and his much loved children; Stan (Joanne) Puklicz, Maria (Fred) Gatt, Robert (Angie) Puklicz, Daniel (Cindy) Puklicz, Denise (Brad) Madsen and his daughter-in-law Kathy Puklicz. Loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Bert was predeceased by his son Henryk (2016). Bert loved the outdoors, especially his passion for fishing, whether off the piers in Florida, or from a boat in a lake in Ontario. Family and friends are invited to Bert’s funeral service at the Christian Reformed Church, 190 Athlone Crescent, Stratford on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation form 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth through the W.
