Craig, Kathryn Ruth
We are sad to announce the peaceful passing of Kathryn Craig on May 5th in her home surrounded by her loving daughters at the age of 68. Predeceased by parents Brian and Peggy O’Neill and brother Stephen. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer (Brian), Stephanie (Tony) and Andrea (Nathan). Dear sister of Jeff (Kathy). She will be missed greatly by her 8 adoring grandchildren: Ben, Patrick, Hannah, Landon, Elliott, Sam, Austin, and Hugh. Kathy will be remembered dearly by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends.
Mom was fun loving, full of life and laughter. Mom loved dancing, singing, playing scrabble, painting, and getting together with her friends. One of her greatest joys in life was her family, as evidenced by the numerous photos and paintings around her home. Grandma gave the best hugs and kisses every time she saw her grandchildren and created a happy, sacred home for them all to visit regularly. As her daughters, we’ve been blessed to have a mom who has exhibited such strength as she has faced many challenges in recent years and always maintained a strong faith. She was truly the strongest and bravest person that we have ever known and we will miss her dearly.
We welcome our friends and family to celebrate their love for Kathy at home at this time by lighting a candle in her honour. We know that you are with us in spirit and appreciate all of the support and virtual hugs that have been offered to us at this time. A private service is to be held in the upcoming days and a Celebration of Life at a later date.
