Kathleen « Kaye » Weidner, formerly of Hanover, died peacefully without pain with her husband Max Demaray by her side at London Health Science Centre in London on Christmas Day. She was 85.
Born on February 23, 1934 to the late Henry and Sophia (nee Ahrens) Hossfeld in Brant Township. Kaye was a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Hanover as an Auxiliary Member as well as the Lawn Bowling League. She was a Stenographer for over 46 years with Pilot Ins.
Survived by devoted husband Maxwell « Max » Demaray of Bayfield. Loved by her step children Debbie (Joe) Seili of Brussels, Rick Demaray of Listowel, Rob (Sharon) Demaray of Alberta and David (Cathy) Demaray of Woodstock. Forever in the hearts of their grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her fur friend Cooper. Fondly remembered by her sister Marie (David) Ferguson of Walkerton as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her first husband E. George Weidner (1986) and her brother John Hossfeld.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 10 am until time of a Funeral Service held at 11:00 am. Rev. Colin Snyder officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
