Obituary of Julia Sarvari
In the comfort of home, with family by her side, Julia Sarvari, our mom and Nagymama, peacefully passed away at the age of 87 on October 8th, 2020. She is now happily reunited with her husband, Zoltan, after 6 years of missing him dearly. Her generous and gentle spirit will be missed by all her family and friends in Canada and Hungary.
Julia was devoted to her family, showing her love through every card, phone call, birthday cake, home cooked Hungarian meal, handmade gift, and smile. Her strong Catholic faith was also a very large part of her life, as was her pride in her Hungarian heritage.
Julia and Zoltan lived for many happy years on their farm outside Strathroy where they enjoyed everything that country life had to offer, spending much time tending their gardens and spoiling their many animal friends.
Many thanks to all the staff at Trillium Village – Assisted Living who helped her and Zoltan over these many years.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Roman Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to All Saints Catholic Church or Middle- Elgin VON, would be appreciated by the family.
