Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Judy Ann Barrett on Friday, August 14, 2020 with family at her side.
She is survived by her husband Dave Barrett; sons Noel (Robyn) Dumontier of Red Lake, ON, Donald (Pam) Dumontier of Thunder Bay, ON; daughters Doreen (Allen) Kranz of Prince George, BC, Penny (Gary) Worrall of Winnipeg, MB and step sons Curtiss (Lorilee) Barrett of Morden, MB, Cory (Tracey) Barrett of Swan River, MB and Chad (Margaret) Barrett of Wetaskiwin, AB. She took great pride in all of her children and numerous grandchildren. She will be forever remembered by her friends and family. Judy made several good friends while being involved with the Royal Canadian Legion and McKenzie United Church. She was fortunate to celebrate her 82nd birthday in March and her 40th wedding anniversary in June.
We would like to thank the paramedics and the staff at the Health Science Center 7th floor ICU. It was her wish to have a simple passing.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
As a tribute to Judy, donations can be made to McKenzie United Church, 85 11 St NW, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 2S2 or to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #65, 275 Duke Ave, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0S5.
