Obituary of Judith « Judy » Elaine Reece
It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing Judith Elaine Reece on Monday, January 27, 2020. Judy passed away peacefully with her family beside her at the Annapolis Community Health Centre. Judy was born November 28, 1947 in Middleton to the late Lawrence and Ruth (Wade) Eisner.
She loved singing, music and jam sessions almost as much as she loved her “little ones”, Alysha, Jacob and Keegan. Her gardens were always full of flowers bursting with colours. Her true passion though was taking pictures of sunsets at just the right moment in time. We could always count on a “few” sunset pictures every night on Facebook!
Judy is survived by her daughters, Kim (Kevin Medicraft) Reece Bridgetown, Shelley (Jason) Taylor Hillsburn, sister Loretta (George) Piper Wilmot, brothers, David (Sandra) Eisner Beaconsfield, Philip Eisner Brickton. Grandchildren, Alysha and Jacob and great grandson Keegan.
Judy was predeceased by her husband John and brother Alden.
There will be a graveside service Friday January 31, 2020 @ 2 pm at the Pine Gove Cemetery, Middleton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank VON palliative care and the staff at the Annapolis Community Health Center for the excellent care provided to Judy. Donations in Judy’s memory can be sent to Annapolis Community Health Center, Palliative Care Unit or the CareyMe Fund. On line condolences may be made by visiting www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
