Button, Joe William Passed away Tuesday, August 25th at the age of 95. Beloved Husband of Joan(Lenson) Button. Predeceased by his first wife Betty of over fifty years. Brother of the late Jack and his wife Margaret, loving Uncle of Carol(Paul)Tuma, Nancy Hobart, Jeanne(George)Sprogis, and Craig(Linda)Young.
Joe will be fondly remembered by Sharon (Ken)Newberry, Chris, Colin(Mary), Alessia, and Julia.
One of Joe’s proudest achievements was building his first house in Etobicoke. Joe worked for Ryerson Press and retired from North York Hydro. He was a man of many talents. In retirement, Joe enjoyed cooking and woodworking. He was an active member of the Mississauga’s Senior Centre where he loved to Dance.
Joe was a kind and gentle soul, he will be missed.
In light of Covid-19 restrictions, a small group of Family and Friends will gather to celebrate Joe’s life.
If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario or Credit Valley Hospital.
Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.
