In Loving Memory of
Josefina Porter (nee Jatico)
July 19, 1947 – November 19, 2020
Passed away in her home in Iroquois Falls surrounded by her loving family on Thursday November 19th, 2020 at the age of 73. She will be deeply missed by her husband Glenn Porter, daughter Mary-Joy Porter (Alain Vaillancourt), son Edwin Porter, grandchildren Gabrielle and Pascal Vaillancourt. She was the sister of the late Pilar (late Felipe) Hiceta, Nilo Jatico (Lydia ‘’Babee’’ Abad), Nicandra (Marcelino) Lumgbas, Flor Lucila (late Rey) Pagaduan, Victoria (Leo) Villahermosa, Justina (late Rudy) Catan, Luisa (late Florante) Init and Benjamin (Felilla) Jatico. Sister-in-law of Lynda (late Gus) Gélinas, Don Porter, late James Porter, late Brian Porter, Dale (Kathy) Porter and Shawn (Sandra) Porter. Josie was also predeceased by her parents Esperidon Jatico and Felicitas Cantil, her parents-in-law Selwyn ‘Sully’ and Rita Porter. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 DeTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls on Tuesday November 24th, 2020 from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday November 25th, 2020 at 11 am at the St. Anne Church in Iroquois Falls. ***Covid-19 restrictions in place. ***

The maximum of people allowed at the same time in Irvine & Irvine funeral home is 30% of its full capacity at one time, rotation may take place;
The maximum of people allowed in St. Anne’s Church is 30% of its full capacity;
The wearing of a mask by everyone in the funeral home and church during visitations and funeral is mandatory;
No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;
No food nor beverage services will be provided;
Washrooms will not be accessible;
Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle;
