John « Lorne » Luxton
1927-2020
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Stewart
Memorial Home, Tyne Valley on Sunday, July 26, 2020 of John
« Lorne » Luxton formerly of Knutsford, aged 92 years, devoted
husband of 67 years of the late Marion Luxton. Lorne was born in
Carlton, Lot 6 on October 6th, 1927, son of the late Fred &
Empress (Boulter) Luxton.
Left to treasure his memories is his daughter Janet (Gordon)
Dockendorff and his loving grandchildren; Emily, John, Timothy, Bryden
and James.
Lorne is also survived by his brother Roy (Velda) Luxton. His
nieces and nephews Blair, Brenda, Nancy, Valerie, Dwight, Gordon,
Dianne, David, Diarre, Faye, Marvin, Kevin, Mary, Roger and
Darlene.
Lorne was predeceased by his parents, wife Marion (Nov 7,
2019), sister Jean (Earl), sister in law Doris (Sterling) Thompson,
half sister in law Blanche (Vic) Forrester, two half brothers in law
in infancy and nephews Ralph and David Forrester.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with private family visiting and funeral service to
be held on Thursday in the Chapel. Interment in Knutsford
Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for Lorne to
Knutsford Cemetery or the Knutsford W.I School Fund would be
greatly appreciate.
