John James Johnson
John J. Johnson, 69, of
Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday,
February 1, 2020.
Born in Hamilton, Ontario, he
was the son of the late Albert Johnson.
John was a pipe and steam
fitter and attended Glad Tidings Church in Moncton and Christian
Fellowship Church in Bathurst. A handyman and « jack of all
trades », he enjoyed hot rods and repairing
cars.
John will be sadly missed by
his wife, Diane (Roy) Johnson; daughter, Tisha Dawn Colborne (Richard)
of Moncton; grandchildren, Ashton and Isaac and great grandchild,
August, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his daughter, Tabatha Roy and son, Brendan Johnson
and brother, Robert Johnson.
A Service to celebrate and
honour John’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home
Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday, February 4,
2020 at 11:00 am with Pastors Susan Brooks and Paul Pattison leading
the service. Interment will be in the Protestant Cemetery in Bathurst
in the spring.
