MOULDING, John “Jack” Reginald
1934 – 2020
Jack Moulding passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail; his children, Reg, Ken (Becky), Brent (Holly) and Terri; his nine grandchildren; his fourteen great grandchildren and his sister, Midge Cifra as well as his children’s mother, Margaret Moulding and numerous relatives and friends.
Jack as born in Watts, Alberta and raised in the Hanna area before moving with his family to Calgary where he raised his 4 children. He graduated from Langevin High School and was a huge contributor to the trucking industry his entire career. Jack drove many more miles after his retirement as well. He and Gail travelled from Alaska to numerous stops in the U.S.A. and even took a cruise. Jack was past president of the Alberta Horseshoe Association and as a result, organized many tournaments. He also enjoyed curling, a good game of crib and the socializing these brought to his life. While living in Calgary, Jack was a dedicated Calgary Flames Fan and never missed a game. At the end of the day Jack Moulding had a great sense of humour and was a real social butterfly, he loved meeting people and spending time with his friends and family.
A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at the Bentley Community Hall, 4821 – 50 Street, Box 768, Bentley, Alberta on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
