Obituary
John William Eli Good of Red Deer, Alberta passed away January 31, 2020 in Ponoka, Alberta at the age of 91 years.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Hilda; his daughters Denise Leeder and Susan Good of Sylvan Lake, son Darcy Good (Reia) of Rocky Mountain House and their children Brandon, Devon and Parker, and his daughter Margaret Rowland (Timothy) of Ponoka and their children Stephanie, Samira and Sean. He was predeceased by his four siblings and their spouses.
John was born on December 11, 1928. He worked survey-seismic in the oilfield while farming the family homestead near Red Deer until retirement. In 1985 he moved to Armstrong, BC where he pursued his favorite hobbies of golf, wood working and gardening. He and his wife, Hilda moved to Ponoka in 2007 where they currently reside.
John’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m..
