Passed away peacefully with family by his side on November 6, 2020 at 86 years of age. Beloved husband of Teresa (nee. Passeri) for 53 years. Loving father of Grace (Dave) Foster. Cherished Nonno of Alexis and Ryan. Predeceased by his 4 siblings. John will be deeply missed by his family. He was a tough cookie and a fighter right to the end. He was born in Roccamorice and came to Canada at the age of 20. John was a carpenter and cabinet maker and built many houses over the years. He had a big heart and would do anything to help someone out and ask for nothing in return. John had a great sense of humor and liked to joke around. He enjoyed fishing and going up North, going to the horse races, and the casino. He will be fondly remembered for driving his station wagon and making newspaper hats. He treasured time with his family and adored his grandchildren. He will be forever in our hearts.
Special thanks to Dr. David Coates, Amherstburg E.M.S. and the doctors and nurses at W.R.H. Ouellette Campus for their exceptional care.
