Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jo-Anne Séguin in Huntsville on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020 at the age of 53. Beloved wife of Geoffrey Crawford, loving second-Mom to Gavin and Katie, and proud grandmother to Cooper.
Loving daughter of Gisèle Séguin (nee Larocque), beloved sister of Raymond Séguin (Ruth) Hamilton, Gilles Séguin (Bernie) Prince Albert, Suzanne Fortin (Claude) Timmins, and Natalie Séguin (Ronny Levasseur) Timmins. Loving daughter-in-law of Bruce and Anna Crawford Bracebridge, Sister-in-law to Alison Crawford (Stephen) Dartmouth and John Crawford (Maggie) Toronto.
She is survived by many nieces, and nephews whom she loved as her own, aunts and uncles, as well as numerous cousins and dear friends.
Jo-Anne was predeceased by her father Germain Séguin (2008) and her sister Carole Séguin (1977).
She will be greatly missed for her radiant smile, her love and kindness, her fun and caring personality, her forgiving nature, her “joie de vivre” and her loyal friendship.
Jo-Anne’s spirit shined brightly with friends and family, she was supportive and often put the needs of others ahead of her own. Jo-Anne was an entrepreneur and whether running her own business or working for someone she was a leader who was determined to complete the work on schedule and to the expected quality. Jo-Anne took joy from loving and nurturing her pets all through her life.
In the wake of COVID-19, a celebration of life will be held in both Huntsville and Timmins at later dates. Dates and arrangements will follow.
