Jennifer Myers
Age 47 years, of Cole Harbour, Jennifer Myers passed away peacefully at home January 13, 2020 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Born October 30, 1972 from Dartmouth she was the daughter of Shelley (Jack) Dollemont and Dave (Christine) Myers.
Aside from her parents she is survived by Mike Jacklyn, soul-mate and love of her life, sisters Laura (John) Hellesoe, Megan Dent- Myers, Katherine Dent-Myers, brother Morgan (Amanda) Myers, Step brothers David Slaunwhite, Adam (Tara) Slaunwhite, Paternal Grandmother Eileen Myers, many nieces and nephews, several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Jennifer spent many years employed by Charm Diamond Jewelers in the head office and was greatly respected by her coworkers.
She loved knitting, crossword puzzles, camping especially at Kejimkujik Park, anything to do with a campfire and the freedom and joy she felt on the back of the motorcycle. Her family was very important to her and she loved being able to spend time with them. Her selfless giving nature was her trademark.
She passed away as she lived her life, gently, quietly, with peace, grace and dignity. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Our lives are richer for having known her. Rest in peace Jennifer. We will see you on the other side.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Red Cross.
Visitation will be held Friday January 17th from 7-9 pm at Colby Community Church, 131 Colby Dr followed by a celebration of life Saturday January 18th at 11 am. Officiating Pastor Jake Choutras and Lic. Keltie Donnellan
