1937 ~ 2020
Cocagne, NB – Jeannine Léger, 82, passed away peacefully at Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, October 2, 2020.
Born in Bon-Secours (St-Paul), NB, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Hélène Arsenault (born Maillet).
Jeannine will be sadly missed by her children, Ricky Léger (Cheryl) of Shediac, Pauline Arsenault (Guy) of Cocagne and Andy Léger (Bernice) of St-Antoine; her grandchildren, Rémi, Amaya, Parise and Isabelle; her great grandchildren, Haley and Maxime; her siblings, Dorina Arseneau (Richard) of Montreal, QC, Gelina Beck (late George) of Waltham, Mass and Louis Arsenault of Boundary Creek; also by her nieces and nephews, Hélène, Pierre, Nicole, Fabien, Christine, Rachel and Lucie.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Léger.
Jeannine was a fighter, she never complained and always accepted her health conditions. She was very grateful for everyone’s support and help in time of need.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from 2pm to 4pm and 5pm until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge at 7 pm, with a maximum of 60 people, due to the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
