Obituary for
Janine MacIsaac (Perron)
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of Neil for 61 years. Predeceased by her parents Romeo and Berthe Perron, brother Jean-Claude and cherished son Michael. Loving mother of Elaine Gomercich (Tony), Louise Bokla (Michael) and Nancy MacIsaac (Dan) and proud Nana to Hailey (Ryan), Jordan (Sarah), Sydney, Ryan and Logan; dear sister of sister Cecile (late Gilles Mulligan) and Jean-Guy (Barbara).
As a mother and grandmother, Janine showed generosity, love, patience and was always there to support others. She had a heart of gold. She was also involved in many activities. She was a long-time member of the C.W.L., the St. Martin’s De Porres (Timmins Food Bank) and St. Alphonsus Church Choir. Her hidden artistic talents included painting, weaving and singing. She also enjoyed curling, dancing and playing golf. The annual family visits to Cape Breton were also memorable for her.
In light of the current pandemic, the family will hold a private family service at Sacred Heart Church. Donations to the St. Martin De Porres (Timmins Food Bank), the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
Funeral and cremation services have been entrusted with Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home.
