It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Jane “Isabel” Fougere 84 of Havre Boucher, Antigonish Co. N.S. Isabel was born January 7th, 1936 to John and Mary(DeCoste) Boucher. Isabel will be remembered for her Strong Faith, her Compassion for those in need and her pivotal role in launching the “The Ladies Auxiliary” now the St. Paul’s CWL. She loved the company of all who dropped in to visit, as well as Card games and Bingo.
She is survived by: Three sons: Philip (Rosa) and Peter of Edmonton, AB, Paul (Wenda) of Bowmanville, Ont. and two daughters: Mona (Sandy) MacDonald and Gloria of Bedford N.S. Nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Two Brothers: Gus and Rev. J. Roy Boucher OMI. Three sisters: Theresa, Edith, and Anne.
She is predeceased by: Elmer, her husband of 60 years, Brothers: Bernard, Jerome, Harry, Charlie, Victor and Billie.
The Late: Jane (Isabel) Fougere will be resting at the St. Paul’s Resting Place, Harve Boucher from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Friday Jan 17th. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday Jan 18th at 11am with Father Allan MacPhie officiating . Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association, the St. Paul Center or the Charity of your choice.
