It is with heavy hearts the family of Jim Watson announces his peaceful passing on Monday May 11, 2020 in his 93rd year, reuniting with his beloved wife Lois (2014). Loving father to 4 children; Doug (Cathy) of Dorchester, Marg (Bruce) MacKichan, Don (Shirley) Watson and Marion (Karl) Robinson all of Ailsa Craig. Dear grandfather of Sherry, Mark, Carrie, Christine, Scott, Jacki, Jason, Kelly J. and Michael. GG to 24 great grandchildren. Survived by brother Mac (Marlene) Watson. Predeceased by siblings Don (Beryl) and Mary (Blake). Jim will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jim worked for 34 years with the Middle County Roads Department. He was a lifetime member of the Centre Road Presbyterian Church.
A private interment will take place at Nairn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chron’s and Colitis Canada or the Strathroy Middle General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
