Obituary of James Keenan Canty
CANTY, James Keenan, born May 8th, 1930, died on May 9th, 2020, at QHC-Belleville General Hospital. He is predeceased by his mother, Leola Elizabeth (Keenan) Canty and his father James Frederick Canty. He is survived by his dear wife of 65 years, Anita Patricia (Casey) Canty and his children, Claire (John), Jane (Rick), Andrea (Paul), Paul (Lisa), David (Kristine) and his grandchildren, Keenan (Catherine), Katharine (Subra), Michael (Caroline), Oliver, Moriah, Curtis, Aidan, Taegan, Maliya and his two great granddaughters, Gia and Jade. Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be held at a later date, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 399 Victoria Avenue, Belleville, Ontario. Interment to take place at St. James Cemetery, Belleville. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice Quinte (Heart & Home Building Campaign), or a charity of your choice.
