James G. Donovan
1932-2020
Following a lengthy illness, James Gladstone Donovan of Anfield, NB,
passed away at the Grand Falls General Hospital on December 16,
2020.
James was born in California Settlement, NB, on December 15, 1932. He
was the son of the late Ziba and Novella (Watson) Donovan. James
leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Marie Donovan (Cullins);
his daughters, Darlene Wright (Dana) of Morrell Siding, NB, Marlene
Donovan of Wapske, NB, Novella Donovan of Perth-Andover, NB; his sons,
Daniel Donovan of Anfield, NB, and Allen Donovan of Blue Bell, NB;
eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren; his sisters,
Jackie Horning (Walter) of Boston, MA, Donna Lee Kelly (Donald) of
Saint John, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.
James was predeceased by his parents; his baby daughter, Roxanne; and
many sisters and brothers.
Respecting James’ wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
service held. Interment will be in the Donovan Cemetery in California
Settlement, NB, in the spring.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
