It is with heartfelt sadness, the family announces the passing of James (Jim) Searcy in the early morning of Monday, October 5, 2020 in Didsbury, Alberta. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Gladys (Kohlmier, 79). Jim is lovingly remembered by his sons, Ken (Maureen) and David; grandchildren, James (Darcy), and Marlyce (Colin); and great-grandchildren, Ezra and Archer.
Born in Spirit River, AB, Jim held a number of interesting vocations that took him and the family across Alberta and Saskatchewan before settling in Didsbury, Alberta. Jim loved the outdoors and spent time hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. Jim’s sharp wit and keen sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
